Brittany Kerr is been purposed by Jason Aldean

He ended his marriage of almost 12 years with the mother of his children to be with his mistress Brittany Kerr. Now, Jason Aldean is set to wed the former American Idol contestant, reports TMZ. The 37-year-old country crooner allegedly proposed to Brittany, 26,  during the West Coast leg of his tour. The details of how he popped the question are not yet know, but he reportedly arranged a private tour of the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday, reports TMZ. Brittany posted a snap to her Instagram on Wednesday showing her at the zoo with a seal. She captioned the picture: 'My man did it again. Last month, Jason spoke out in defence of his controversial relationship, revealing he is tired of being criticised for it. He posted a quote to Instagram that said: ‘You know my name, not my story. You’ve heard what I’ve done, not what I’ve been through.’ Along with it, he wrote: ‘So sick of people judging me and brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldnt change a thing.

‘Im happier than i have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. Its time to move on people. The rant came after he had received flack for sharing a photo with the former NBA cheerleader and a puppy. The photo shows Jason holding the French bulldog while Brittany leans in to give it a kiss. Jason filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery in April 2013. They have two daughters, Kendyl and Keely together. A rep for Jason and Brittany confirmed their relationship to E! on March 17, revealing that the two have been together since the country star filed for divorce from Jessica. Jason filed to dissolve his 12-year marriage after falling for the pretty blonde one-time American Idol competitor, with the pair caught getting cosy at a bar in West Hollywood in September 2012. Reports surfaced on April 25, 2013 that Jason had separated from his wife back in January, before he officially filed for divorce the following day.
